I am qualified as a Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologist and I am registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) - PYL26162. Since my graduation, I have worked for more than 20 years in a variety of settings as well as in a private practice.
I am experienced working with children, adolescents, and adults as well as couples and families. My experience also extends to working with refugees, inmates, psychiatric patients in the UK, in Belgium (Brussels and Ghent) and in Brazil.
I have treated a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, bereavement, psychosomatic conditions, as well as treating individuals who find that life is not working as they like because of relationship difficulties (repeatedly experiences), interpersonal effectiveness, and who would like to become more self-aware of their psychological difficulties to gain more fulfilment and enriched living.
I have a post-graduation qualification in Forensic, Intercultural and Neuropsychological Assessment and have been studying Psychoanalysis since 1994 in Brazil, Belgium and in the UK (Manchester and London).
